In this way, the Spanish manufacturer meets (narrowly) estimates of launch the update during the first quarter of this year.

Starting today BQ begins to deploy the update to Android 7.1.1 Nougat Aquaris U family with changes seen in the Aquaris X 5 Plus.

As with the Aquaris X 5 Plus, changes will be the incorporation of the BQ Launcher which, among other things, will allow turn off the screen with double-tap any part of it or slide bottom upwards to open the drawer of applications. Your SMS application will be compatible with the RCS standard.

All these changes and many more will arrive in the Spanish family in a staggered fashion.
