Custom T-Shirt Stamping

The printing of personalized t-shirts or textile printing is a finishing system of a fabric or yarn, by means of which it is stained in a localized manner in one or several zones.A soluble, natural or synthetic coloring matter is applied to the fabric.

There is a classification of systems of stamping of t-shirts and of textile printing. Depending on the results we are looking for our custom t-shirts we will use one or the other.

Direct stamping of t-shirts

By means of this technique the color is stamped directly on the personalized t-shirt , then dried, vaporized or thermoset.Do not wash the personalized t-shirt when stamping pigments, as all the paste is on the surface.The digital printing would enter into this system of stamping of personalized t-shirts.

Corrosion Stamping

The technique of stamping of t-shirts or textiles by corrosion, is based on applying a paste of print on the shirts dark or black. The printing paste contains a corrosive product that eliminates the color of the fabric in the areas of application in the process of vaporization. The stamping paste can be colored or not, depending on the design. It is used especially for stamping delicate designs and fine lines . It is more expensive but high quality prints are achieved. In addition the drawings are visible on both sides of the fabric.

T-shirt printing by reservation

It is a technique of stamping craft of long tradition and is based on first stamping a reserve paste to then dye the yarn or the fabric.The paste repels the dye, so in the stamped places, the dye is not fixed, appearing the background color of the yarn the fabric.A very old method that can be done, both artisan and industrial.

By means of this type of printing the Ikat trend drawings are obtained. This technique is not very used to stamp personalized t-shirts, what is interesting is the aesthetic result, from which drawings and designs are extracted and then applied by serigraphy or sublimation.

Sublimation transfer

It is based on the stamping of a drawing on a paper that is then transferred by means of heat and pressure on the fabric .The properties of certain dispersed dyes that sublimate at certain temperatures are exploited.

It is suitable for polyester fabrics, in particular and for synthetic fabrics in general.
