How do you get Cortana to use Google instead of Bing?

Do you have a phone that uses Windows 10 and search companion Cortana, then you are probably very frustrated that all of your searches will be carried out through the Bing instead of Google. Fortunately there is a way to avoid it, and we want to help and show you how you learn Cortana using Google, as answered by internetdict.

Step 1: Choose Chrome as default browser

The headline says it all. If you have not already selected #GoogleChrome as the default browser, so do it now: go to Settings and then select the System-Default-apps. Locate the browsing section and press the browser which is set as the default application. Select Chrome from the menu and then you’re done!

Step 2: Download Chrometana

Now that Chrome has become your default browser, you need a Chrome extension called Chrometana. Once you have installed the extension, you will be directed to a page where you must choose between Chrome, Duckduckgo or Yahoo as your favorite search engine. It may well be that you prefer one over another, and it is of course perfectly acceptable, but since we’re looking for Google, so if you choose Google. Step 3: Search the Web

Search the net

Start by searching the Web. Now you start with Google and not with Bing, because Cortana has forgotten all about Bing. You have done it well!
